Just Realised that Ravana was punished because he took Eve Teasing to new Heights.
In today’s World he would have easily got off with a rape too….(Not that I advocate that)
Does he deserve the Humiliation of being Killed every year by being Lit on Fire!!
How many more years…till this tradition will Stop.

I have two views on this. The logical part agrees that this humiliation is utterly non-sense and a long held tradition, followed because of its mythological significance.
But, on the other side, I guess it gives us an opportunity to celebrate together. Bring a reason to stand with family, laugh together and be happy. If reasons for being happy are even senseless, doesn’t matter!
