Pulkit Kumar—-Because you cannot “belan” a square, because you cannot make small doughs in any other shape but spheres, and spheres when compressed can make only round shape cakes. A round cannot be EQUALLY cut any other form else radially… Hence are the arcs

Gurpreet Singh Tikku —-Basically its just for the sake of convenience. Its much easier to manufacture a square box. On top of that if the size of a round box varies with that of the pizza, it might not fit the size of the box. Now since, while production, a huge number of boxes are made, so till the time the error in size might show itself, the manufacturer will incur losses.
Also, for the customer, removing a piece from a square box will be much more convenient as it has only four touching points. The rest of it will be open. Hence it will be easy for the customer to remove the pizza from the box as compared to a round box.
Also if you see a square box, it has one side still attached to the rear end so it can hold the box together. That might not be possible in a round box. If not handled properly the rear end might fall in a round box. Hence, the ease of use for the delivery boy.
